Quad W Support

We are so proud and honored to share that we have received a grant from the QuadW Foundation. QuadW was created in honor of Willie Tichenor, who lost his battle with Osteosarcoma at the age of 19. QuadW aims to answer the question “what would Willie want” by supporting areas that were important to him. The foundation provides "financial support to people and organizations pursuing innovative ideas and opportunities in the areas of higher education, sarcoma research, personally transforming mission experiences and general philanthropy."

Our classmate, Lauren Hayden Jordan has been on the Board of QuadW since its inception, and was a close friend of Willie's when they attended Highland Park High School (the picture in this blog post). In high school and college, Willie was involved with the arts in various capacities, including theatre productions as well as performing with his band, Clover Street. Thank you so much to the board of QuadW for supporting our production of Macbeth. The amount we received has already doubled our previous budget from our production of Romeo and Juliet and will support artists and designers directly.
